Life of the Party annually team's up with UCSB's Dept of Recreation to host the "Annual Dodgeball Tournament". Beginning in 2014, this event is in remembrance of fellow Gaucho, Alec Torchon, a student who passed away from mixing alcohol and prescription drugs. The purpose of this tournament is to emphasize the risks associated with mixing drugs and alcohol, as well as providing students with a “Night Off” sober event filled with fun and friendly competition!
